I know this topic had been dealt with, and I have read all posts on the topic, and found some very interesting and helpful info.

I weigh about 100kg, and ride on road 90% of the time.

Most of the posts give guidance on suspensions settings, specifically front shock, rear preload and damper settings.  All talk about 6 clicks or 8 clicks or whatever, but nobody anywhere says what this means. Does it mean on the preload wheel you turn it all the way to high and then 6 clicks back, or do you turn it all the way low and then 6 clicks in towards the high direction, or what???

Also, on the front schock, they and the manual talk about high and low settings or number 1 to 5, but what does that mean? Where am I supposed to see the numbers or how do I know which setting is now high and what is low. I read on the forums for mostly on-road riding one should set the front shock at 1. How do I know when it is one number 1? I have the spanner and I can see how it can or might be turned, but which way is 1 and where is 5?

Please help me. I admit I am mechanically a bit challenged here.

Would be even more helpfulif someone can give me guidelines with regard to my weight and so on.

Many thanks
