Our hosts at the soon-to-be Eendekuil Hotel are DS regulars. That's their BM's on the newly laid paving.

Lovely people, 5 minutes and we were friends! Will definitely see Johan & Magda again.

When we got back to Durbanville XXX organised an impromptu Prepsol Party, complete with QC inspectors who pointed out my bike's seat still had some Swartland on it.

Sproket, daai foto`s van jou is darem mooi jong. Laaik die mis/wolke een die beste. Lyk asof julle sommer `n bemousterende naweek gehad het.

Thanks Dustsucker!

Was an awsum weekend. Yourself + Fidel would have been in your element and good company. The rat would have seen good sights too. (I could have supplied a Leathearnan & cable ties for the KLR.)

This was the first time that I left the DSLR at home.  Had serious withdrawl symptoms. Using a P+S that doesn't even have a viewfinder took some getting used to, but the in-ride pics would have been difficult with the DSLR. No way I could handle that with my left hand while having the right hand on the throttle. Next time the DSLR comes along too, WTF it is ensured, lugging expensive equipment along is worthwhile if you get better pics. The P+S cannot handle low-light pics. Frustrating.

The DSLR is just that bit better at capturing those subtle things that create mood. TOTAL HIJACK but for instance the whites on the chick's necklace would not have detail with a P+S.
