Taming a Remus pipe

As mentioned previously, my boney has got the complete Remus system on.
Sounds lekker, but its a bit loud. A very big bit... :roll:

How can I make it a bit softer? LS mentioned something about taking the end-cap off and stuffing it with extra foam/mesh/dunnowhat.

I dont want to do something that will mess up the engine in the long run.

Any suggestions that wont cost me an arm and a leg? :?:
