The Last Hurrah

The news that Bush Boys had been sold was a hard one to take…. I’ve spent many a weekend there and made life long friends in the process.

Mark Ongers arranged one last weekend at Bush Boys to say goodbye to Joe and Ruth and there was no way I was going to miss it.

We have since learnt that the deal is hanging in the balance and we might see Bush Boys again in the near future.

Friday morning my bike was ready to ride, but I still had 4 hours of appointments to get through before I could leave for Tonteldoos. Just after 1pm, I rode in the 36 degree heat to meet up with @Just Blip It! at Sudwala Caves for lunch.

A pizza and Castle lite later we were off heading to Lydenburg via Weltevreden Pass.

I also hate it when work gets in the way of my trips

My boss is very unreasonable when it comes to getting time off for important stuff like this - probably the same as your boss
