Popped in to BMW today, to find out the cost of a blank (non-chip blank) for my 1150, since she only came with one key (no spare key!).
BMW wanted R120 for a blank, so.............
I went to Builders Warehouse in Milnerton to see if their key-cutting counter could help.....
They could - they had BMW CAR blanks (not bike) and she cut me a key, which I then tried, and it worked, first attempt - cool!

9 ronds, 99 cents, for the blank AND the cutting!!!!
I nean really, R9,99!
It's a bit bigger, but it's a fully functional spare!!!
