Places where we have stayed, and highly recommend (no we are not paid, we were just happy and were treated very well)

Waaidam Guest Farm, 20km from Harrismith, near Eeram Station on the N3. Farmer Willem really went out of his way.  He kuiered with us until we called it a day.

Sani Backpackers Lodge.  Good service and affordable.  Down at the bottom of the pass.  You will see Sani Top does not feature here.

Kinmel Guest Farm, 1km from Rhodes, on the way to Carlislehoekspruit pass.  Selfcatering.  If you want to eat or have a beer, you have to go to Walkerbout in the south western corner of the town.

Woodpecker Guesthouse, near the gholfclub in Ficksburg.  Really nice.  My wife would hove loved this place.  DSTV to watch the rugby from your room.  Unfortunately we did not stay for breakfast.

awesome RR. We just happened to stay in that exact same hut outside Rhodes. Awesome riding around the area.

Baie dankie vir deel het dit baie geniet! Is op die bucket list vir volgende jaar!

Whish everyone would clearly list the places they stayed and their impressions for those that are route planning - really invaluable and thanks for including :thumleft:

A true pleasure to ride with you,
brought a big smile on my face many times ...
love the way you get the things of your soul ..

did the same kind of trip along the passes ...
Memory lane big time ..

Thanks

Very nice reading, can see you had a good time. Also on my bucket list.

Did much the same route about 3 years ago, good memories! Great trip and RR.  :thumleft:

What a nice RR.  Thanks for sharing.  :thumleft:

Nice to do a trip like this with your heavy.  All my heavy's left the family - think it is something I said

I see my son is looking at my bike - maybe there would be something in the pipeline soon.

Can you post the GPS route you did?

Be good.
