Just slightly off topic, if I may...?

Wooly, with what and how did you shoot the pics as seen on the KZN bash thread; specifically refering to the grainy look?

D300s and D300 each with a SB900 on top.

The grainy look is due to PP-bling with contrast,  clarity and desaturation in PS.

Then batch resize of the RAW files. Seems to add to the grain.

Do you not like the look?

Farksteaks WB, dankie vir jou tyd.
Maar jou antwoord is soos daai Mustang.

Effens oor my kop.
Sal maar eendag die goed gaan leer.

PS: ek hou daarvan :thumleft: gaan netnou gooi een of twee soek wat my meeste getref het.

Best fly report ever on here. Love your photos and it confirms that good camera equipment and an operator that knows how to use it comes up with a that bit of special magic. I like the handheld shot at 1/6th of a second - your heart-rate must have been low and you probably held your breath for a second there. Awesome anyway  :thumleft:

Dear Westfrogger,

When 2SD and I organize our next bike trip, it would be much appreciated if you came along. Actually you have to come along.
These photos are next level and I'm blown away...

Really enjoyed this report, thanks.

Mike (Beachy Head) was not shy with his gas mileage ... the Bucc spent most of it's flight putting the two Rolls Royce turbofans to good use propelling the 28-ton beast to a little beneath Mach 1. Note the shockwave trailing the aircraft ...

I love the Bucc, one of my favourites of all time.

If it is there next year, I'll have to make the trip.
