Toyota - is the badge still worth the effort?

Lot's of staunch Toyota supporters use the word "reliability" as their main reason for being, well, staunch Toyota supporters. But how many know that many Toyotas are just rebranded cars from other makes?

Yes they are also obviously reliable, but in this case they even offer a better/longer warrantee than Toyota do, for the same car!

Now I just wonder what the hilux was, originally...
