If a person is planning a trans Africa trip by bike and support vehicles for about 5 - 6 weeks - some questions:
1) What is the ideal number of bikes? This in terms of logistics, camping, riding in group, "clicks" etc?
2) Should the riders know each other or can you make it an "open" invitation?
3) What is the best time of the year to do - April/May?
Those who have done it - any advise?
