All countries outside SA even SADC countries.
Visa's are required for these countries:

Angola: Visa must be approved by embassy in SA. ALWAYS TAKE WITH YOUR LETTER OF INVITATION.
Benin 3 months. At arrival
Botswana 90 days At arrival
Burundi on arrival
Cape Verde Visa issued upon arrival
Comoros Visa issued upon arrival
Ethiopian Visa must be applied for before hand at embassy in SA. NO MORE VISA IN KENYA EMBASSY. Ethiopia 3-month tourist visa issued on arrival at Bole International Airport if flying in.
Egypt Visa issued upon arrival in Wadi Hafta and is free
  Gabon One month arrival
Kenya 30 days on arrival
Lesotho 14 days on arrival
Madagascar 90-day visas can be granted on arrival for MGA140,000.- (or equivalent in Euros or US Dollars)
Malawi 90 days on arrival
Mauritius 60 days for touristic visits, 90 days for business visits
Morocco on arrival
Mozambique 30 days on arrival
Namibia 3 months on arrival
Rwanda 90 days on arrival
Saint Helena Visitors pass valid for 3 months issued upon arrival for £12.00
Senegal 3 months on Arrival
Seychelles 1 month on arrival
Swaziland 30 days on arrival
Sudan : Apply at embassy in SA or on arrival in Addis Ababa at embassy of Sudan.
Tanzania Visa can be obtained on arrival. 50USD For SA will be waved in due course
Togo 7-day visa can be obtained on arrival
Tunisia 30-day visa can be obtained on arrival for TND 35.-
Uganda Visas can be obtained upon arrival if required
Zambia 90 days in a 12 month period (which can be taken at once or in intervals)
Zimbabwe 3-month holiday visa, 30-day business visa, or 3-day transit visa can be issued on arrival free of charge.


Carne de passage (passport for a vehicle) all you need to know:
Basically only needed for Egypt and it is 200% deposit for car or bike. We did not need the Carne for Kenya and Uganda as stated by AA. Best to enquire from their embassy before heading off. Rules change often.

International Driving license
Did not need one in Africa. Need a valid SA driving licence. NOT A LEARNERS LICENSE.

COMESA NO MORE IN USE
Cheaper than buying insurance from each country. SA AA do not sell it any more

Vaccination card
Need Yellow fewer for these countries.
