What an adventurous ride?? Don't try this at home kind of thing!  But when do you call a ride an adventure ride or a memorable ride?  For me this was one of those.
All started of with the normal, black top from home to reach the closest gravel.  This took me trough some formal and then informal settlements and then where we want to be, out in the sticks.

Some times the road is good and sometimes it is excellent. Depends on what you want, after all the N3 is a good road but enjoyable? No!
So the road improved for me without choice!

Now here is where the bigger bike have to turn around.  Things get more interesting here.  Every now and then something like this pops up and here you need some skill and a smaller bike. 800 to big must be a scrambler.

But it always opens up again.  So what do you do?  Ride in comfort most of the way 1200 BMW (200km)  and sukkel your ass of to cross that one little section.  You will need a winch, plenty patients no swearing deep inside you that wants to irrupt and lots of water. Or ride with no comfort most of the way (WR) most of the way to cross these sections easily?  My weapon of choice for the day XT 600.

My sort of ride.
How many km's of the single track ?.
If you are able to share the gps file i would be grateful.

Most of the time when you having fun you don't think about documenting it by taking pics so the pics doesn't say it all.
Here is more pics of the attempt to exit the valley below.

When you battle and you get to the point where you have to prove you ability to stay calm and push through you don't need this!  Apart from gravity that puls you back down you have a stick that apply brakes and sometimes the power doesn't reach the back wheel!!!

All good rides have to come to and end.  Opened up again to nice gravel then tar where the speedo reach the 120km/h mark just to get home.
After all the bike had been trough the day I get a flat ten km from home. I had the ability to repair but who like to do fix puncture on the side of the road? so my faithful wife had to come help me out.
Thanks for watching! Snoekie sakalala signing of.
