A cautionary tale of how what seems like a good idea can be stupid 8) 8)

I have recently had starter bendix issues, stripped it lubed it minimal difference..

Swapped it for a second bendix I have similarly lubed... worse..

Start parking at the top of hills, but its better when warm  ??? hint, hint  :peepwall:

Take the number 2 one clean all my sticky moly grease off it with turps and lube it wih WD 40 and gear oil...

swap them..... works first time every time...

Answer the "sticky" grease was holding it all back untill it was warm, use what is recomended don't get clever :-[
