My Dakar is running very smooth
No hard starting
No surging or any flat spots.
BUT... lately fuel consumption is starting to increase by 15-20%. The air filter is clean.
I am going to replace the fuel filter/pressure regulator as the bike is currently standing on ±85 000km and it was never done before.
Now, my question. When should I suspect valve clearances "out of spec"? What is it symptoms of bad (out of spec) valve clearances on our 650s?
