i have a Q thats been on my mind since a week after i have purchased my varadero '07 model('06 spec)
a week after i had recieved the bike with 6000km on the odo, i had shifted into i think 3rd or 4th gear, and the thing clicked then it was out of gear(neutral) then i clicked again and it was back into the desired gear.
i thought maybe i was shifting like a poepol..
anyhoo this had happened a couple times, on the highway or in town.
sometimes it goes out of gear and makes a horrible horrible noise in the gearbox when i try get it into gear again
then when back in gear all well .
went to the shops 30minutes ago and did this again.
starting to worry me a bit,
the gearbox is very clunky in 1st and 2nd... apparently all varas have the same clunkiness.. in vara forums people have discussed this issue.
the gearbox and motor uses the same oil pan, iow its not like hte RM i used to have where i jus change the gearbox oil.
the oil in is semi synthetic oil honda uses on all its bikes(so they say, Castrol Activo)
the bike now on 13,500km
