Many thanks to Boertjie for organising the ride and to Rooipoot for spicing it up.Enjoyed meeting other WD and meeting up with some from the past.
Ball & Chain ! sorry you had to eat the remnants of my no. plate and bracket,I actually thought my rear tyre blew out , the bang was so loud as it got jammed in the rear swing arm.
Eisbien ! glad to hear the ball bearing are in tact in your sump, that Dakar sure threw a couple of rocks at you.Tell me, were you singing very high notes at "Die Uilnes" ?
Hey Uiltjie, that all fall down hill was a little hairy, but not as scary as riding through that long "Koring" on your farm.
And as for the wildebees,I also saw it .It only had one horn.Later at Rooippots house, while having coffee with one of the local farmers,he told us it is about 25 years old and the only survivor of 4.
Well I got some bumpy video`s of the ride ,but am too busy at work at the moment to post them.Oh ja,and the helmet cam hasnt worked since it hit the ground attached to my handlebars.
Till the next run then !
