Seeing that I didn't participate it's not a Ride Report. Just some pics taken at a regional event.
25 April 2009, weather was looking dodgy. Not much rain had fallen before the start but during the first lap it started to drizzle. And from there it just got worse.
I'll kick off with some quad pics. These are in some cases social riders. There were some interesting obstacles in the farmyard. Bikes & quads could choose between a maize and a jump. All the quads chose the maize, and just as well.

Next customer:
The jump was a ramp used to load livestock. The run-up became quite slippery later on.
Here a Kawa uses all the suspension it's got:
Yamaha too:
And then this youngster on a 2-stroke Yamaha. He probably thought he needed a bit more speed and opened the throttle a bit too much at the wrong time. (Gauteng riders help me here. Is this what is called "Doing a Dakota?" ) eepwall:
Lookong for his contact lenses?
All's well that ends well, he jumped on and had only one or 2 okes pass him.
