Hi. I know this was probably asked and discussed before, and I did do excessive searches, but did not find a proper answer yet.
Can you please advise which tyre is the best for the 1200, regardless of cost. I have done 9 000km's on Annakees II on the rear and front, with about half of it on dirt without problems, but with very little sand. Mostly this was on gravel highways and railroad tracks, where the Annakees performed well.
We are planning to do the Desert run ( Our Own ) next year again and I need to know what will the best tyre be for this excursion. I need tyres that will last at least 5000 Km's, of which about 1 600Km's will be on tar.
I consider myself to be a novice still, and need all the help I can get from the tyres. I did attend Jan du Toits course last year, and should probably return for a refresher. :lol8:
