Okay so I'm a dopey old twat who knows nothing about modern electronics, but last week while cleaning out my airbox, I found a 'thing' inside it. It looks nothing like any motorcycle component I've ever seen before. I'm too ignorant to post a picture of it, so I'll try to describe it. Black plastic rectangle, about 75x50x5mm, appears to have been attached at one time with double sided tape. It bears a brand name 'wavetrend', and has a code or part no. FCC ID: 06XL - TG 501.
The writing says that it complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules, subject to not causing any harmful interference.
Being ignorant my flying guess is that it could be a tracking device. Otherwise what the *#@! izzit? Can't see what essential role it plays on my F650.
