Anakees? Not my style, too roadish but like 15 000 km’s!
Metzler? Does anybody still use these?
Heidinau? Good 50/50 with lots of km's (11 000ish on the two sets I've had so far) but I need a more aggressive tyre for these snotty winter K'roo roads
Mitas E07? Seems to be a good 50/50 with reasonable mileage (7000ish?) with probably better grip in mud than the Heidi.
Mitas E09? What do I know? Obviously an aggresive tyre but not sure about the expected mileage?
Kenda? By all accounts about 6 to 7000 kms, more aggresive and good grip.
Sava? Varied opinions but pricing close to the Kenda. No idea of mileage.
TKC? Great tyre but way too pricey
What else is there?
I used to do 80% commuting in Jozi and always used Heidi's but since I'm out in the sticks now it's the other way round if not more like 90% dirt and a bit of tar.
Honestly a little confused as to what I should get right now before the long haul to Gariep.
