Was the first off ride for the Rally, plus my first off also as I ran out of talent :
Suspension set to 'Comfort' proves to be sportbike-hard, especially the rear.... my fillings rattled on a corrugated road!
So today to [member=614]Runner[/member] for better tyres, as especially that Karoo3 front lacks grip on loose stuff, and at the rear it would be nice to have at least some hookup.
And then we'll set the suspenders to 'waymorebouncy' i.e softer also, a LOT, as these things are supposed to help me rather than me fighting them.
I got to test my 'crutch' also (works great!), the front had a few thorns in it, so a new tube was slapped in.
Ditto MN's front - but his' are tubeless: quickquick plugged, lekker!
So, a good ride in all, learning something is mos never wrong!

Lucs said:We decided to do a combined enduro and adventure weekend. So we packed up our bikes and camping kit and headed out to the De Wildt cop shop for an enduro ride. It was eventful to say the least--we had some very entertaining crashes and eventually had to organise a bakkie to take a very fatigued lighty (he's only 10) back to the cars.
After the enduro ride we camped over at De Wildt 4x4. Let's just say that we had a monstrous braai with some special lockdown beverages to wash it all down.
Following a night filled with rave music pumping from the neighbouring property, some drunken friends shaking our tents and very loud snoring, our morning started off with a breakfast at Harties. With full bellies we did a nice leisurely loop of the Harties canals. All in all, it was a superb weekend with some awesome friends.
