My first post here, but had an epic ride along the Lower Loteni Road from Nottingham Road to Himeville on Friday afternoon. Being a relatively inexperienced rider and on our first real trip on the bike, my wife and I set on what we thought was going to be a relatively easy ride. However the road was really stoney for the first half and was a real challenge for me.

Anyway we made it and I feel like my skills went up quite a few notches.

Then overnighter Middelpos. Ended the weekend with huge *** nail in the rear tyre - trailered the 15 km home after roughly 900kms over the weekend

The wife and I did a lekker ride on Saturday. We started from DBN North out to Tongaat, Glendale Heights, past Kranskop to Greytown, then along a dirt road to a pine forrest where we pulled in for a lunch under the trees. Then onwards to the Reitvlei road, York, New Hanover, Wartburg, Table Mountain, Inanda Dam and home. One day trips are never enough....

This road was short but quiet, with not a soul on it but some horses.
