Saturday : En route to visit a brother-in-arms from the late 70's. A 'road' trip to the other side of the Langkloof, namely close to Kareedouw.
I felt decidedly fragile yesterday, what with drinking beer and wine and talking kak till deep into the night. Reminiscing about countless moments we shared during training, during deployment, and stupid trivial and hair-brained kak we got to.
PS - road trip se moer....pic taken on the Kamanassie road. Stopped to hydrate, pee, take off my rainsuit ( after leaving Grg in rain) and msg Angel at home.

where that dune is, is Botswana, rode from VanZylsrus to Askham next to the border. app 200km of sand roads.

Tried camping on Hakskeen pan, but big thunderclouds starter rolling in and we decided to rather pack up and head back to Upington.
Round trip from Langebaan starting on wednesday and back on Sunday 2957km
