What is the condition of the road? T4A show it as a ‘track’ from Hadley Guest Farm to Patensie. I presume that is the route you were on? Is it 310GS (alloy wheels and soft as butter suspension) friendly?

To be honest it is rough. We had all the loose rocks on down hills. Not sure i want to do it the other way. Antoniesbergpass is the correct name. Mountainpasses south africa has a decent discription. We rode from patensie side. Hard work to the river. From there to steytlerville is gravelhighways.

Thanks a lot, definitely not for me then. Will take the dirt road north of it that joins the R75 just before Kariega.
