New Year in the Ecuadorian Andes! Tricky ride in to our lodge at times, but a shifting tank bag that prevented me turning the bars on a particularly steep hairpin nearly had us off. That will need sorting when we get back! Scenery very lush here on what is known as The Quilatoa Loop.

Was one of those days in Swakopmund that phone an estate agent and tell him to sell your house in Windhoek and get one in Swakop.

The C35 was sandy but fun to ride, the C28 was a challenge, not graded recently and well travelled.

Travelled 796km of which 261km was gravel.

Left WHK 08:30 and stop at home 21:45.

Was in the saddle for 11 hours 30 minutes.
