Where to buy , what to buy ?

Okay, so here we go....the bike has been decided upon...GS650 for mommy, and GS650 Dakar for me.

Kit.... all suggestions welcome.

Helmet - I like the good ol MX style with decent goggles, the wife likes the "Flip front". Pros and cons please???

Jackets - Leather or Gortex ? I see most ride with the gortex type.

Boots? ? ?
