I'm planning an impromptu trip to Namibia (assuming I will get the visa which is major PITA) and may need to change the rear tyre halfway through. I will need one of those long lasting knobblies - Mitas EO9, TKC80, Metzeler Karoo (the knobbly one) and I need 130/80/18 size. Can you please let me know if I would be able to get them somewhere in Nam up to the 24th of December? I know there is Yamaha dealer in Swakop and will contact them for availability, but I would like to have more options.
Alternatively - is it possible to send via post another tyre to Nam from Joburg and just pick it up in the post office? Or send it to a dog in Nam if I ask nicely and bring bottle of whisky and pick it up from him/her?
