Where to ride in Helderberg area

I have been riding for many years. I have this vision of getting myself and 9 year old each a small capacity plastic bike to teach to ride and for to spend quality time together. I am thinking a Hero XPulse 200 Rally for me and kiddies bike for him. Maybe Big Boy Junior 90… just to last him 2 or 3 years till he can get on a bigger size bike.

We live in Somerset West, Cape Town area.

Question is: where does one ride? Are there any easy trails etc in our area where we can ride?
