I'm seriously considering selling my Fazer 600 Yammie and getting a mid-range twin cylinder dual sport instead.
The reasoning is that all our roads are crap, I feel sorry travelling on even the best ones with the road bike.
The candidates are the Versys, V-Strom, and Transalp 700. I'm keeping my fugly for the tuff stuff so I basically just want something that can tour comfortably on any surface with some luggage.
As far as I can gather, both the Versys and Strom has a bit more poke than the Alp, but then again the Alp is probably the best on dirt.
At the moment I'm leaning towards a Transalp, I like the white and blue one's with the gold rims.
I hope these things aren't too much slower than my little 600 which I quite enjoy.
Any advice?
