This was my first "legal" banger, a Kwakka AE 50! It was the first one in PmBurg too! My late father was mates with Mike Grant(Ex Mike the Bike Kawasaki) and wangled a mean price for me, and they let me help them un-crate it and PDI it! I think that was my proudest moment, riding that shiny green beauty home that afternoon!!
What a faithful little banger that was, and she served me well through my school years and even one or two hunting/ fishing trips to Richmond and Ixopo !! Can you imagine a 16yr old laaitie riding along the main road today with a shot-gun on his back??
I eventually sold her in my second year in the "Army" and bought an XT 250.......But I still think of her often....
