I use photobucket but use the ema facility...much easier....just email the photo to your photobucket email address and they will auto upload it to your profile and reply with a mail to say when it was successfully uploaded and provide a link.
How many photos can I send at a time?

So far, I was only limited by my mail server (no bigger then 10mb per mail). have done 5-25

Flickr.com

Some say the interface is confusing, but I dont think so.

It is solid and very reliable and it is backed by Yahoo, one of the biggest internet companies in the world.

The second best part of it, it is that it is for free !!!

The best part is that you can host 1 Terrabyte, Yes Terrabyte (not to be confused with Gigabyte  ;D )
worth of photos absolute free.

No other photo-hosting service comes close to it.

Facebook. All my photos go into a Facebook album with the privacy set to only me. That way they don't get posted on your wall. I right click and copy image URL for the photos I want in posts.

But does it not only display (when you post it in a forum) in one smallish default size ?

With Flickr, you have the option to decide you big you want the pics to display.

Pretty much all the photos from Facebook are good sized - Like this

And you can always resize it as needed - Like this
(not forgetting the aspect ratio is 4:3)

Code:

Absolutely. Facebook is simple, fast, reliable and works.
Changing the privacy settings - good idea.

I'm using https://imgur.com/ for my ride report. Its free and even has the embed code readily available for pasting into forums like wilddog.

Definitely the way to go, in my opinion. It's quick and easy. You can use the Imgur.com software to automatically change your pic size as you upload and if you don't want to there is no need to subscribe.
