I've recently fitted the wilber fork springs with the recommended 10W oil as per instructions.
the difference between these and stock is quite amazing, very much an improvement. I would recommend these to anyone with a KLR.
I did, however, test them at De Wildt which is a bit harsh on your bike. I still managed to bottom them out a few times which concerns me a bit.
The question is, would things improve if I put a heavier weight oil (or adjust oil level) in or should I just accept that I'll occasionaly bottom out on the rough stuff?
I popped the fork seals with the original springs (with longer spacers) and I'm not sure if I'll do the same playing around with the oil.
