Our wheels got locked up with all the mud when we went up two years ago.
But we are a bit crazy, my 60 kg frame on a dakar and my friend on his GS1200 Adventure. eepwall:
I am considering going through that side next month

I’m heading that way again in late April, this time as a tour.
11 days in total. 3 in Wild Coast, 3 in Lesotho and 3 in the Eastern Cape mountains.
2 days are chilled liaison days.
Backup vehicle with the tour starting and ending in East London

I’m planning on heading up to run an 11 day route from April 21 - May 01 starting and ending in East London.  I’ll take a max of 6 riders .
Route is Wild Coast (Morgan Bay to Mboyti), Lesotho (Sani, Katse, OngeluksNek) and Eastern Cape (Rhodes, Bastervoetpad,, Katberg,, Hogsback +++)
