A good alternative to the Dirtbagz is the Wolfman bags. The tankbags are about the best there is - got one specially for the KLR. They do have a soft topbag system (Alfa) which works well and generally received good reviews from the guys in the States. The bags is lowered at the ends to fit lower next to the sidepanels on the bike - good for fit and for lower center or gravity. I've got the Wolfman Enduro tankbag which I shall shortly replace with a Wolman Lite - it just became too small.
