hi folks,
i have a little issue with my XR500R.
in first gear it sometimes shudders a bit... feels almost like the clutch is slipping then grabbing again.
it only does it occasionally, but the last ride i went on to atlantis it did it all the time while in the sand.
on the tar it seems to do it more when the bike is cold, but its not a consistent issue. it only happens in 1st gear!
i've replaced the clutch plates and the springs and the clutch basket is still good, so thats not the problem.
the only thing i didn't replace was the clutch release bearing.
any suggestions as to what could be causing the problem?
i'm working overseas at the moment but will be back for a holiday at the end of the year. i want to order parts so long so i can sort it out when i get back home.
any ideas?? ???
