I have a 2003 XRV 750 (RD07A) Africa Twin.
The twin has 2 coils, feeding 2 sparkplugs on each cylinder. The right hand side (view from back wheel) spark on the front cyl is not getting a spark, or the spark is getting shorted / lost somewhere..
Around this i have a few questions:
1. What is the likely cause, where to start trouble shooting, is this common?
2. What is the long term prognosis of riding with a dead plug, what is the performance drop, and what is the reason the twin was made with 4 plugs on 2 cylinders?
3. Where is the best place in SA / Cape Town to get a new set of plug wires?
(this is my first post, forum seems epic and alive)
Cheers
