XT pulling to the right

I've noticed that from new the XT pulls to the right when you take both hands off the handlebars. Not a lot though but enough to do a lane change. When riding with both hands though it doesn't feel like it's pulling to the right no matter what road you are on. After 2500km the tyres are wearing evenly and the wheels are aligned. Could it be the big exhaust? It must weight a good few kilos and with a light bike like the 250 could it be the cause?
