Come and take this bike away. I’m in Pta. Now at this price it obviously needs work so be prepared to swing spanners or have a good mechanic that can do it for you. I have managed to start it twice when cold then afterwards it battles. I’m not a fan of kickstart, if it was E-start would have continued to fault find. There is a whole thread on this bike. As it stands now it needs the following to be a complete bike :
-Chain guide bottom
-Air filter
-Master cylinder front new or rebuild but not sure old one is usable
-Neutral switch (installed but faulty)
-Indicator relay (installed but faulty)
-Clutch cable (old one very stiff)
-Horn
-Chain slider (has one but modified)
-Mirrors
-Battery
-Side covers
I do have the pillion brackets
I replaced
-Fork seals
-Fork boots
-Greased all seals
-Stearimg stem bearing
-Fixed oil leaks (cant see any leaks now)
-Rear brake switch
-New rear brake shoe
-Oil
-Oil filter
-Thread repair on oil cover
The biggest job wil be to redo the tank as it has rust inside
R9000
For that price I’m barely making my money back
