I just finished the resto on a 81 XT 500 G.
It looks stunning, needs a bit of TLC in the motor department, Gravelman will work his magic next week.
Two things I need advise on:
What do you do to the exhaust in terms of paint, both header and muffler? Everything I have tried just peels of with the heat when the motor is running.
Where can I get decals made for the side panels the original style XT 500 white lettering on black?
