Thanks for another amazing story!  8)  I only got to read the whole thread now, enjoyed the way you are able to capture the spirit and emotions and realities in pics and words.  Another 12/10.  :thumleft

Enjoyed reading your report, MJ.

Awesome adventure.

Does Tabard or other insect repellent not discourage the tsetse flies?
They would drive me bossies.

I sort of doubt it, these things bite you through your clothing, I do not think they will be put off by Tabard. Also we were sweating so much, the tabard would not last 30 min.

I quote Manumai from Advrider forum:"I am speachless...this is absolutely amazing
you guys are blessed to live in a place like Africa" (He is from NY)

MJ en Hennie, julle is great Ambassadeurs vir Africa  :thumleft:

MJ, this just cements your spot as my all time favorite traveller, again

It took a while for me to get through your report. I have however not decided if it was an amazing one or a f^%king amazing one  :ricky:

Well done, you certainly have big balls to do something like this :mwink:

I recall on our recent trip to Malawi, when we did the river crossing in the boats, the thought that went through my head was "Metaljockey eat your heart out.."
Only to come home to this RR  ::)

Well done and thank you for sharing  :thumleft:

Is this the trip Pistol was on? Are we going to see a report?

I discovered you RR lastnight and like a good book, I could not tear myself away from the words, that made sentences that, in places, when processed by my sleepy mind left me staring at the screen in disbelief.

But mostly I had this grin of admiration on my face as I subconciously cheered you on after reading each trial and tribulation.

Congratulations for completing this Odysssey (The word Ride or Trip does not do it justice), congratulations for even contemplating it and starting it in the first place and thank you for being great ambassadors for the DP community.

Any chance we can get this RR in pdf format, like the angola one?

GROOT RESPECT
