Up to the minute info please guys. I rode the pass from Ann's Villa to Addo about 3 months ago solo, and had little problem, but my impression was that I wouldn't want to do it on anything heavier or less capable than my X/Challenge.
Now, a friend is proposing a trip with a couple of other mates, to also include the section south of Darlington dam called Paardepoort, which is unfamiliar to me, but he's seeking my advice.
I don't really know what to tell him. I've told him that he would "probably" be ok on the pass on his 1150, because I know he's a better dirt rider than I am.

!) but I think it would be useful if if I could tell him something about the most recent condition, and also about Paardepoort.
