Good Afternoon everyone,
Our team at BIKETIQUE will be having a breakfast ride out to Hermanus on the 17TH of May (Sunday). We would love it if you could join us.
We would like to leave from Biketique at 08:30 sharp so please arrive at 08:00, giving us time to discus the route before we hit the road. All are welcome including all bikes, bring your friends, family, a full tank of petrol and some money for breakfast.
We will be meeting at Biketique and head to Muizenberg then take Baden Powell drive to the N2. We will then turn off at Somerset west and take the beach road through Strand and Gordns bay. We will follow the mountain pass and travel through Rooi-els, Pringle bay, Bettys Bay and then Kleinmond, turning off shortly after Arabella hotel on to the R43 to Hermanus. Once in Hermanuns we will be having breakfast at Beintangs Cave. Once we are finished with our chow we will be heading back on the R43 and taking the N2 back home. The whole route has a mixture of riding, tight corners and open roads all of which will be a blast. If you have any Questions about the route do not hesitate to ask.
All in all we are looking at 2 hours trip there, 2 hours or less in hermanus and 1.5 hours for the return. We should be back between 14:00 and 15:00.
