Yesterday I was going on Chicco's Ballito to Mtunzini ride. That was however not to be.
As I was pulling away to at the meeting place, the bike just stalled. It swings properly, all the little flashes and lights on the dash lights up and goes out as they're supposed to. You can even hear the fuel pump starting up.
I rode the 80 km's from home to Ballito without any problems, ambient temp was between 8 and 15 degrees C. I didn't leave the ignition on when we stopped before taking off. I fuelled up just before I met the others, and again no hint of a problem.
It sounds as if there's no spark. It's not the side stand switch, otherwise it wouldn't have swinged. Maybe immobilizer?
Anyway, I'm taking it in today, just posted here for future reference and some guesses.
