Waterpump guard
Radiator guard

I see it sells for R32k separately. I paid R19k for it in January. I was stupid, but it looked pretty and I was just seeing stars and got discount and wanted to leave the dealership with everything fitted and and and :ROFLMAO:

Also, supposedly VW will be officially taking over Ducati SA from December. Maybe they'll open more dealerships.
I was unaware, (or else had forgotten - HIGHLY possible! :ROFLMAO:, but thanks for the reminder...

"In an emotionally charged address, Jos shared that Ducati has terminated his importer status with effect from 1/1/2025. From that date, the new importers of Ducati motorcycles into SA will be Volkswagen SA. The fundamental reason is that Ducati wants exposure across a wider range of dealerships, presumably countrywide."

Yes I was told this by Braam Smit, Ducati Centurion some months back. The idea is that they will identify VW/Audi dealerships in major centres as part of a national dealership. TBH my recent experience of VW dealerships has not been an entirely happy shopping experience so I am not exactly holding my breath.

Saw a guy on a DDX leaving Graaff-Reinet this morning around 08:00
He rode off in the direction of Aberdeen
Anyone on here maybe?

So, this morning I wrote a letter to santa for this. I've been good this year so hope to find it under the tree.

Well you will have to wait and continue to be a good boy as it is only due end of the first quarter on 2025 ...

That said I have no major desire for it - lose 2 litres of fuel and lose one's house on morgage ;) A lose/lose situation. For what? A little time saving changing the airfilter - pfft it really is not that difficult or time consuming ... guys have been doing it on the Leady to Lace bikes for years already  I would rather spend the money if I had it on full Tractive suspension from the Netherlands and would still have lots of change for fuel!

The Tractive suspension is incredible, I had the Touratech Extreme, made by Tractive, on my 2017 GSA and it totally transformed the bike.

Yep, I have the rear with remote hydraulic preload on my 701 that was made by Tractive for Rally Raid UK. Brilliant.

Interesting. Ducati SA have been terrible to deal with for years. So much so, that many of us simply bring in needed parts from overseas. I'm still waiting for an indicator from them that I ordered about 10 years ago.....
