My gat was net dag 2 so effens seer - was heeldag in die saal (500+km). Die fiets is nie gemaak vir lang pad nie maar ek was baie tevrede daarmee op die toer en het alles wat voor ons gegooi is goed hanteer sonder enige probleme.

Can anyone list the places in that area where one can get fuel? Places like - Onseepkans, Warmbad, Ai-Ais, Noordoewer (Namibia side), Aussenkehr.

Thanks everyone! We're planning to do Cape Town, Boegoeberg, Onseepkans, Vioolsdrif - Rosh Pina - Sendelingsdrif, Cape Town in the middel of October. Any advice is very welcome!

I was told one cannot do this route on a bike. Conservation park does not allow it because of the kind of wildlife. Does anyone know for sure?

I would like to do a 2-3 day trip in the Western Cape at the beginning of October. Does anyone  have some advice on where the best places and roads are to see the spring flowers?

Going to the Gamkapoort dam is also a nice route with great views along the way especially on the Bosluiskloof pass. Lots of Koedoe & other buck to be seen en route in the river beds. One can overnight at the dam as well. Stay in the old construction houses with beautiful views over the dam. No...

Thanx LeonDude My bike was garage bound for the winter & took it for a ride last Sunday. I had +- same experience as you. Saw you post yesterday and although I had looked at the fuse and it looked 100% with not a hint of corrosion I went & swapped it anyway - & voila!

Hi everyone I was a roadie for a large part of my (long) life then nothing for a few years. Kids grew up & my combi burned out. Bought the bike on the spur of the moment. Rode thru the Klein Karoo & now all I want to do is plan trips & ride them............
