at the recent 1150 GS workshop at Danie Maritz motorcycles in Cape Town, the 1150 GS Shane used to show how to remove the tank, revealed the 'hidden' compressor!, which fits EXACTLY/SNUGLY where the ABS pump would sit....
As I have the identical (4x4 strength) compressor sitting unused at home, it would make a good project - would mean removing the ABS system, which is a slight schlep to keep switiching off, when off-road....
An thoughts - remove and fit, or leave ABS in place?
The bike in question came WITHOUT ABS.
He fitted a reachable switch, in-line fuse, all the usual stuff, just clip on an extra hose lenght, and pump!
Cheers
