So last year April I got my first bike, KLE 500. It was mainly for commuting but I do do a trip every so aften with my mates.
I really enjoy tinkering and after I fitted some panniers to my KLE there is hardly any more to do. So I decided to get a project bike to keep be out of mischief. I bought the bike (1983 TT 600 Yammie) from a mate who was fedup after throwing a small fortune at it and not getting it to run properly. Here is the bike when he dropped it off.
He had done the following to the bike:
Decompression Cable
Electric light switch
Service swing arm
Service mono Spring
Wheels rebuild with SS spokes
Tenere tank
All SS bolts
Timing chain and balancing shaft
I have no experience with motorbikes so it was a bit of a challenge to say the least.
