2 country trax days in 2 weekends [video RR]

A while back I booked to do a Country Trax day for the end of August. Shortly after booking I found out that WD was also hosting a Country Trax day. So I ended up going to both.

I took along my video camera and put together 2 short videos. The first of which is below:

I'm planning on filming a feature length DVD later this year, so feedback would be great. What you like, would you don't like, constructive criticism, etc

The WD country trax video should be finished this weekend.

At the time I didn't even consider doing the crossing. But as soon as I left I felt like going back and giving it a go!

I need to get away from mixing to music. It's fine for 3-4min clips but won't work for longer edits.
I'm getting more familiar with my new editing software. Got some cool ideas that I would like to play with.

I think I prefer the second video as well. Actually it's rather interesting, as I was somewhat lazy with getting the camera out that weekend. At the time I wasn't sure if I was shooting complimentary footage or a separate video.

In your opinion, what about the second clip is better than the first? It's nice to get fresh perspective.
