950/990 TYRES

I need to put a new set of off road tyres on my 990. My 150/70/18 continentals TKC 80 only lasted 800km through Lesotho all on dirt roads. The Scorpions is great for tar and moderate gravel roads but tend to loose grip in muddy conditions. I,m thinking of putting the maxxis m6006 front and back but they are only available back in a 140/80/18. The price isnt bad and I will use them 90% off road. Is there anyone using them without problems?
