The ride out of the valley was a muddy affair and took as back to the point where we abandoned the route two days before

I hate the word "epic", but I think this ride could be termed that!

The most difficult of all mediums on a bike, mud.

For sure..... and the cleaning afterwards  :dousing:

We had to abort our effort to get through this donga when Mark’s bike slipped into neutral and he fell backwards with bike falling on his leg.

Incredible video Noneking :ricky: :ricky:

Epic Ride; Mud, Rain, Rocks, steep inclines and declines, awesome scenery.  :thumleft:

Those rivers looked hectic especially the one after 12 minutes

The photos are stunning , pity the video had some water leakage but enjoyed it very much anyway

Well done  :thumleft: :thumleft:

Thank you Rynet!

Our original plan was to ride  to a few iconic passes in KZN after we completed the recce, but due to weather forecast and Mark’s injured leg, the decision was made to head back home and return some other time

as ALWAYS ... epic ride, conveyed to us in such a way we felt we were there with you. The words, pictures and videos are very well put together.
looking forward to part X when you go back.

Well done [member=13184]Noneking[/member]

Hope Mark's leg is not too seriously injured.
