What can I say that has not already bben said about the weekend in Baviaans, for me it was one of the most enjoyable fun filled times of my life. Great bunch of people, fantastic riding area and plenty cold beers and......WHAT A WEEKEND.
There is no way I can put into words what I experienced on the way and in the kloof and on theway back, so I will let my pics try and convey my thoughs and feelings......
Friday 6.30 am, beautiful morning and great expectations
First stop, Sheery and breakfast
Two very sexy rear ends
After breakfast it was on to Ronnies Sex Shop for a BEER
and the beers were nice and cold
Then it was on the way to Merringspoote
Mark (accton) having a look around
After Merringspoorte was the first dirt road, 90km to Willomore
Only river crossing on this stretch, CO doing the thing
some low flying bikes
either CO is to fast or I'm to slow
Last stop before Baviaans, petrol for the machines and beer for the opperators
The ride into Baviaans was beautiful and wet, those river crossing were fun. No pics were taken of the ride in, nor of the first night to many beers and too much talking to remember the camera
The next morning.......oh my head :?
View from the tent, my heart was smiling
Gideon, CO and myself decided it was time to explore the area and set off in search of good riding....
Gideon and CO
as you enter Baviaans nature reserve
smoke break and Gideon in full swing
Just some pics of the area...
That it for now.....must get back to work will post the rest later
